I’ve been incredibly lucky that, in just seven short months, I’ve had the opportunity to lead a mastermind three times. Each one came at a pivotal moment for me, when I truly needed the support and different perspectives of the YABBERS.
The mastermind approach really works. Leading with curiosity allows you to uncover so many layers you didn’t even realise were there. Often, what you’re feeling is just a symptom of something deeper, and the questions asked in the room help you get to the heart of the issue rather than staying at surface level.
Every member of YAB brings an incredible amount of experience. Not just in their own field, but in life and business as well. Hearing a range of advice and perspectives is invaluable. It helps create a clear path forward, and quite often, it’s a path you didn’t even know existed. For most people, it’s genuinely life-changing, and you leave feeling exhausted and overwhelmed in the best possible way.
Even during the more general conversations around the table, the energy, support, and sense of connection are always there. Leaning into each other’s expertise is what we’re there for, whether it’s solving a logistical challenge or getting a warm introduction to someone. Every part of it is valuable and deeply appreciated.
